Dr Tsougenis Efstratios
Director, Imsight Medical
Dr. Tsougenis Efstratios is the Director of Imsight Medical. With his 10 years experience in the field of Image Processing, Computer Vision and Machine Learning (Ph.D. (DUTH) & Post-Doc (HKUST)) and more than half of them in A.I. Hong Kong Market, Efstratios, a full-stack A.I. Manager, Engineer and Entrepreneur, currently serves as Hong Kong Technical & Business Director for Deep Learning Medical Imaging Diagnostics company, Imsight Medical. In the past, he served as Team leader & A.I. Consultant for multiple A.I. teams while collaborated and consulted multiple companies in the A.I. HK Market in the fields of Healthcare, Smart City, Manufacture, Weather Analytics, and Sports Analytics. He is also the founder of Orasis A.I., a consultancy company focusing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and a guest lecturer for multiple institutes in Hong Kong.

Mr Lawrence Fong

General Manager, IT Solutions, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited

Lawrence Fong was appointed General Manager Information Technology Solutions in June 2016, currently responsible for IT solution delivery, IT Risk & Security Management, Enterprise Testing, Enterprise Architecture, Innovation and IT Partnership of Cathay Pacific Group’s IT Department.

Prior to his current position, Mr Fong was General Manager IT Governance & Planning from 2013 to 2016 and responsible for strategy and planning, governance, portfolio management, performance, procurement as well as security and risks management of Cathay Pacific.

Before joining the IT department, Lawrence was Director & General Manager of Vogue Laundry Services Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways and a market leader of commercial laundry services in Hong Kong.

Mr Fong joined Cathay Pacific in 1990. He has worked for the airline in a variety of managerial roles in Hong Kong, Netherlands and The Philippines. He graduated from University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, University of Michigan with a Master Degree in Business and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Master Degree in Information Management.

Mr Kok Tin Gan
Partner, PwC
Kok-Tin is a partner within PwC’s Risk Assurance practice with over 12 years of experience in IT governance, cyber security strategy and framework, cyber security governance, security management, IT risk, technology architecture and ethical hacking.

Kok-Tin is extremely well versed in developing a holistic cyber security strategy, banking technology risk management guidelines and technical review tools. He is also one of the co-author of many technology risk management guidelines issued by the financial regulator in Asia.

Kok-Tin is a Certified Chartered Account (CCA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Mr Eric Ho

Co-Owner & Chief Information Officer , Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited

Eric Ho is the Chief Information Officer of HKBN. Mr. Ho joined the Group in July 2012 and is responsible for the Group’s information technology strategy development and leads the IT Department to optimise business support and processes through IT system development, integration and management. Prior to joining HKBN, Mr. Ho was the Head of IT and Service Platform at SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited, and before that, he held senior IT positions at Huawei Software Technology, Emperor International Holdings, Westpac, CSL and Bank of America. Mr. Ho was awarded CIO of the Year (Medium Enterprise) jointly conferred by Computerworld Hong Kong and CIO Connect in 2013. Mr. Ho is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Hong Kong, a Master Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University, U.S., and a Master in Accountancy Degree from Charles Sturt University, Australia. Mr. Ho is a Co-Owner of HKBN.

Mr Felix Kan

Partner, Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice, PwC

Felix is the executive committee of Cyber Security Specialist Group in Hong Kong Computer Society and a Partner in PwC’s Risk Assurance practice with 10 years of extensive experience. He started his career as an ethical hacker and personally committed to help companies in HK to improve their security postures and deal with cyber-attacks more efficiently. Given the nature of cybersecurity – an area that is very difficult to justify Return on Investment (ROI), Felix developed real-life attack simulation methodology and tools with PwC HK and helped his clients to transform on their cyber journeys. Felix’s key areas of expertise and experience include IT governance, IT security framework, application and data security, IT risk, security management, technology architecture and ethical hacking focusing on high security network, web and mobile applications.

Ms Cindy Ng

Executive Director, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl)

Cindy Ng was appointed Executive Director of Hactl in January 2014. Prior to the appointment, she served as General Manager of Information Services in Hactl. Cindy has over 20 years solid IT experience in the air cargo industry. Working in Hactl, Cindy has participated in a range of key projects such as terminal automations of Kai Tak and SuperTerminal 1, and the development of the award-winning COSAC-Plus cargo management system.
As the head of IT, Cindy is responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of the IT services in Hactl.
Cindy obtained her BSc Degree (Hons) in Computer Science from University of Toronto, Canada and her MBA Degree from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

Mr Harry Pun
Cybersecurity Executive, Greater China, Microsoft
Harry serves as Cybersecurity Executive in Microsoft for Greater China Region. Harry brings with him more than 20 years of experience in IT and Information Security including solution selling and consultancy in the Greater China region. Prior to his current role, Harry was Director, Cyber Security of Singtel. He was responsible for managing overall Cyber Security business in Hong Kong. Harry also held several key positions with a variety of IT vendors including Dimension Data, NTT Security, Verizon Terremark and Symantec.

Harry holds Master degree and Bachelor Degree in Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).

Ir Susanna Shen

General Manager, Corporate Information Technology, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited
Ir. Susanna Shen has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology.  She was appointed as the Head of Information Technology in The Hong Kong & China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) in 2005. Before taking up this role, she was the Chief Operating Officer of iCare.com Limited, previously a subsidiary business of Towngas. The IT team under Susanna’s leadership is responsible for providing Towngas Group’s IT services and solutions to support the business mission of Towngas and its subsidiaries as well as its Mainland businesses.

Susanna is serving in several Advisory committees in the public sector and also in various advisory panels, universities and professional bodies. She has been the Chairperson of CIO Board – HK Computer Society since 2017.  She has got various awards in her career tenure e.g. HK CIO Awards 2017 (Large Enterprise).

Prof Kar Yan Tam
Dean, School of Business and Management
Chair Professor, Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Professor Kar Yan TAM is Dean of the HKUST Business School and Chair Professor of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management. He joined HKUST in 1992 as a founding member of the School. Prior to being Dean of the Business School, he was Dean of Students and Associate Provost at HKUST leading the internationalization efforts of the University, improving the quality of the undergraduate education and supporting students’ holistic educational needs.  Professor Tam is serving on the Board of AACSB and EFMD which are the leading global business school accreditation bodies.  He is also serving on Council of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, OUHK, THEi and is the Chair of the Curriculum Development Council of HKSAR. He is an information system scholar specializing in fintech and technology adoption and plays an active role in promoting academia-business collaboration projects and startups.

Mr Breyvan Tan
Managing Director, Wissen International Pte Ltd
Mr. Breyvan Tan is the Managing Director of Wissen International Pte Ltd. He carries with him 25 years of experience in IT training and education solutions to enterprises, professionals and students in Asia Pacific region.

Since setting up Wissen in 2008, Mr. Tan has led his company to be a well respected and reputable international student recruitment company in ASEAN as well as a cyber security competency development company representing EC-Council.

Prior to this, Mr. Tan was the Executive Director for Informatics Global Campus and before that, the Managing Director for Informatics Education Singapore, responsible for strategising and spearheading the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in a highly competitive and rapidly changing business and product environment. Mr. Tan was with the Informatics Group (SGX:BOU) for 14 years since beginning his career with them in 1994 as an IT lecturer and subsequently assumed various senior management and business roles.

Mr. Tan witnessed how EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker certification took the market by storm when it was first launched in Singapore in 2003 and how it became the world-leading Ethical Hacker credential. He also participates in the development work with EC-Council on some of the latest cybersecurity curricula and new certification launches.

Today, Wissen is also the exclusive distributor for EC-Council and her cybersecurity courses in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. Wissen manages close to 80 partners in these countries. Working with various government departments, training centers and educational institutions, Wissen trains and develops cyber security professionals for the world. To further that, Wissen also organises cyber security leadership training as well as workshops for specialised cyber security skills.

Mr Huili Wang
Regional Technical Director, Darktrace
Leading his team of Cyber Defense Technologists in Asia-Pacific at Darktrace, Wang Huili is responsible for the thought leadership in the field, while driving growth and delivering world leading cyber artificial intelligence (AI) solutions across the region. Now valued at over $1.65 billion, Darktrace Enterprise Immune System is the world’s leading cyber AI company.

With 14 years in the field, Mr. Wang’s experience has helped organisations of all sizes in areas of expertise including AI for Autonomous Response, Cyber Defense, Smart Cities and Big Data Analytics.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Wang has held leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Imperva.
