Alex is a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of leadership experience across multinational corporations and local enterprises, including General Electric, HSBC, JP Morgan, and Towngas. Currently serving as General Manager – Corporate Information Technology at The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, Alex plays a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s IT strategic roadmap and spearheading its AI transformation initiatives.

Throughout his career, Alex has demonstrated a strong track record in IT operations, program management, and digital transformation. He has led regional and cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology solutions across Asia, including large-scale credit card platform deployments and enterprise system upgrades. At Towngas, he has been instrumental in consolidating IT operations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and driving innovation through initiatives such as the “Smart Towngas” roadmap and citizen developer programs.

Alex believes that one of the key pillars of managing an effective IT function is managing user expectations. His personal calling is to ensure that the right technology is applied to the right scenario for the right group of users—bridging the gap between innovation and practical value.

He currently serves as a CIO Board Member and Executive Committee Member of the Artificial Intelligence Specialist Group at the Hong Kong Computer Society.

黃家傑先生是一位資深的科技管理人員，擁有超過二十年的領導經驗，曾於多間跨國企業及本地機構任職，包括通用電氣（General Electric）、滙豐銀行 (HSBC)、摩根大通 (JP Morgan) 及香港中華煤氣有限公司（Towngas）。現時擔任香港中華煤氣有限公司企業資訊科技部總經理，負責制定集團資訊科技的策略藍圖，並領導人工智能轉型項目。

在其職業生涯中，黃先生於資訊科技營運、項目管理及數碼轉型方面均展現卓越成績。他曾領導區域性及跨部門團隊，在亞洲多地成功推行大型科技方案，包括信用卡平台部署及企業系統升級。在煤氣公司任內，他積極整合資訊科技營運架構，推動持續改善文化，並透過「智慧煤氣」藍圖及市民開發者（Citizen Developer）計劃，推動創新。

黃先生深信，有效管理資訊科技職能的其中一個關鍵，是妥善管理用戶期望。他的使命是確保合適的科技應用於合適的場景，並服務於合適的用戶群體，從而拉近創新與實用價值之間的距離。

他現為香港電腦學會（HKCS）資訊總監委員會（CIO Board）成員及人工智能專家小組執行委員會委員。
