The applicant must have the intellectual property right of the ICT product/service mentioned in the application.


The awards will be granted at the sole discretion of the Panel of Judges. They may be withheld for any categories in one or all of the award streams.


Short-listed entries will be invited to make a 15-minute presentation on their submission to the Assessment Team.



Visits will be made to inspect the application in a typical working environment. The applicant will be responsible for demonstrating the application in operation. The assessors will also interview the users on site.

Entries will be short-listed for final judging by the Panel of Judges.



Among the winners in both streams, one of them will be selected by the Panel of Judges for the Grand Award of the eLearning category, The Grand Award winner will go on to compete for the ultimate accolade of r the "Hong Kong ICT Award of the Year".

The Organizer reserves the right to retain all data submitted by entrants at its absolute discretion. During evaluation, the Panel of Judges may require access to relevant information in the entrant's possession and/or access to the company's premises. The entrant will be notified in advance if such access is required. Any information supplied by an entrant for the purpose of the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2006: eLearning Award will be treated as confidential, and will not be used by the Organizer for other purposes without the entrant's permission.
