The HKICC is an annual event organised by the Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS). Its goal is to bring together IT professionals and business and government leaders from all over the world to explore the opportunities that information technology can offer, to share successes and insight. More than 500 delegates attended last year's conference, representing a variety of local and overseas public and private sector organisations.

Transforming the economic landscape with technology

In the past twelve months, the world has faced some of the most serious economic challenges since the Great Depression.

As the Asia’s World City and a major global financial centre, Hong Kong tackled the Financial Tsunami with its usual hallmark flair – a combination of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit and the innovative use of Information Technology (IT).

Technology is now embedded in the fabric of our businesses and at the core of our competitiveness. It is also an integral component of the Hong Kong International Computer Conference 2009 (HKICC2009) with its theme of "IT Innovation – Value Creation and Economic Transformation."

Looking at IT from the perspective of creating economic value, HKICC2009 brings local and international experts together to share the latest trends and IT developments. In addition to the keynote addresses on landmark topics, speakers will take delegates on a journey down four parallel tracks, exploring:

• Digital Creative Industry
• Web x.0 and Social Media
• eHealth
• IT in a Virtual World

Don't miss this opportunity to see and hear where technology is taking Hong Kong!

Who Should Attend?
CEOs, CIOs, MIS managers, operation managers, marketing managers and executives from the governments, IT companies, international corporations and anyone interested in benefiting from a thriving ICT industry.
