On December 8 and 9, 2004, IT leaders and innovators from
Hong Kong and around the world will showcase their prowess
and success before a global audience at the Hong Kong
International Computer Conference 2004 (HKICC2004), an
annual IT conference to be held at the Hong Kong Convention
and Exhibition Centre. With the
theme “Local Excellence,
Global Success”, HKICC2004 serves
as an ideal platform for discussion and exchange with
industry veterans and experts, both local and international,
on the latest IT issues, including digital entertainment,
information security, wireless communication technology
and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). This year,
HKICC will also highlight Hong Kong’s success
in the IT and innovation arena by inviting local IT
firms that have successfully made inroads in the global
marketplace to share their secrets of success.
Since its launch 27 years ago, HKICC has
been drawing huge number of attendees from Hong Kong,
China and other parts of the world. Over the years,
HKICC has provided vast networking opportunities for
IT professionals and enterprises around the region.
At HKICC2004, participants will get
a glimpse of Hong Kong’s IT future as local government
representatives deliver addresses highlighting Hong
Kong’s IT development strategies and policies.
As in the past years, HKICC2004 will include panel discussions
