Charles Li has served as Chief Executive of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) since 2010. In this role, Mr. Li has orchestrated some of the most significant strategic initiatives in HKEX’s history, including the acquisition of the London Metal Exchange in 2012, the launch of OTC Clear in 2013, and the introduction of Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect in 2014, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect in 2016, and Bond Connect in 2017. He has sought to strengthen Hong Kong’s role as an offshore Renminbi hub and led HKEX’s efforts to reform its listing regime to maintain Hong Kong’s competitiveness and secure its position as a leading IPO centre.
Mr. Li was born in Beijing and grew up in Gansu. Before leaving China for further study, Mr. Li was an offshore oil worker in the North China Sea and then an editor-reporter for China Daily. After completing his Juris Doctor (JD) degree in the US, Mr. Li practiced law in New York with Davis Polk & Wardwell and Brown & Wood. Before joining HKEX, he was Chairman of JP Morgan China, prior to which he was President of Merrill Lynch China.Mr. Li obtained a BA degree in English literature from Xiamen University in 1984, an MA degree in journalism from the University of Alabama in 1988, and a JD degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1991.李小加先生自 2010 年起出任香港交易及結算所有限公司(香港交易所)集團行政總裁。自其擔任此職以來,李先生成功推動了香港交易所歷史上最為重要的多項戰略舉措,包括在 2012 年收購了全球最大的金屬定價中心倫敦金屬交易所(LME)、在 2013 年成立場外結算公司、在2014年推出「滬港通」、在2016年推出「深港通」、並在2017年推出「債券通」。 李先生積極尋求全方位強化香港作為離岸人民幣中心的角色,亦大力推動香港上市體制的改革與發展,維持香港的競爭力和鞏固香港首次公開招股中心領先的地位。李先生出生在北京,長在甘肅。李先生離開中國深造前曾是渤海油田石油工人,並曾任英文《中國日報》的編輯記者。在美國完成法律博士學位後,李先生曾在紐約的達維(Davis Polk & Wardwell) 與布朗伍德 (Brown & Wood) 律師事務所執業。加盟香港交易所前,李先生為摩根大通中國區主席;此前為美林證券中國區總裁。李先生 1984 年畢業於廈門大學,取得文學士學位(英國文學);1988 年獲得美國阿拉巴馬大學新聞系碩士學位;1991 年取得紐約哥倫比亞大學法學博士學位。

Steve Ledzian’s career in Information Technology and Cyber Security spans more than 20 years, 10 years of which have been spent living in Asia Pacific. As FireEye’s Chief Technology Officer for APAC, he advises public and private sector organizations on how they can build a workable framework for a modern and mature security posture.Steve is a prolific public speaker and has delivered keynotes at a great variety of events covering a myriad of security topics. He specializes in taking the highly technical subject matter of cyber security and turning it into plain language, which can be easily understood by non-technical executives.

Prior to joining FireEye, Steve managed the Security Specialist Sales Engineering team for Cisco Systems in Asia, which he joined through Cisco's acquisition of IronPort. Prior to relocating to Asia he worked in Silicon Valley startups for over 10 years.

Steve has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.

Before joining CityU, he received a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Western Ontario. As a physics lecturer, Crusher introduced WebCT, the first widely adopted learning management system (LMS) for tertiary education, to the CityU community in 1998. Subsequently, he has taken the responsibility of the management and development of e-learning at the university. His latest challenge is to enable real-time teaching and assessments online.

His work started from the initial IT strategic planning, selection of technologies and clinical applications, implementation and support of the IT infrastructure and application systems. Prior to joining the CUHK Medical Centre, he had served in the Hospital Authority’s IT department for 26 years.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, such as deep learning (DL), reinforcement learning (RL), and generative adversarial networks (GANs) play a pivotal role in studying the biology of aging and disease on many levels. Alex Zhavoronkov, PhD will present Insilico Medicine's latest results in the generation of novel small molecule leads using the Generative Adversarial Networks and Reinforcement Learning, as well as the multi-modal biomarkers of human aging and age-related diseases.

Alex Zhavoronkov, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Insilico Medicine (insilico.com), a leader in next-generation artificial intelligence technologies for drug discovery, biomarker development. He is also the founder and CEO of Deep Longevity, Inc, a global company developing a broad range of artificial intelligence-based biomarkers of aging and longevity. Since 2015 he invented critical technologies in the field of generative adversarial networks (GANs) and reinforcement learning (RL) for generation of the novel molecular structures with the desired properties and generation of synthetic biological and patient data. He also pioneered the applications of deep learning technologies for prediction of human biological age using multiple data types, transfer learning from aging into disease, target identification, and signaling pathway modeling. Under his leadership Insilico raised over $50 million in multiple rounds from expert investors, opened R&D centers in 6 countries and regions, and partnered with multiple pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic institutions. Prior to founding Insilico, he worked in senior roles at ATI Technologies (acquired by AMD in 2006), NeuroG Neuroinformatics, Biogerontology Research Foundation. Since 2012 he published over 130 peer-reviewed research papers, and 2 books including “The Ageless Generation: How Biomedical Advances Will Transform the Global Economy” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013). He serves on the editorial boards of Aging Research Reviews, Aging, Trends in Molecular Medicine, Frontiers in Genetics, and co-chairs the Annual Aging Research, Drug Discovery and AI Forum (7th annual in 2020) at Basel Life, one of Europe's largest industry events in drug discovery. He is the adjunct professor of artificial intelligence at the Buck Institute for Research of Aging.

Mr. Kevin Wong is a young entrepreneur cofounding an AI startup, Datax. After completing his bachelor's degree of BBA(IS) and Computer Science in HKU, he teamed up with a few energetic technical partners to build AI related solutions to tackle pain points faced by AI developers and corporations who are willing to adopt AI solutions. During Covid-19 pandemic, his team has developed and launched two solutions; one applying OCR to help SMEs evaluate loan eligibility by analyzing bank statements and company documents; one applying speech-to-text technology to help video content producers automatically prepare Cantonese subtitle.

Ms. Kedi Wang is currently a data science manager at Intact Financial (HK), she has relocated to HongKong from Canada in early 2020 to help kicking off the brand new Hong Kong office of Intact Lab. The parent company, Intact Financial Corporation (TSX: IFC), is the largest general (cars, homes, business) insurance in Canada with the goal of becoming an AI leader in the global insurance industry.

Kedi has a very diverse background prior to relocating to HK. She holds a bachelor degree in actuarial science and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, she then has worked both in developing large scale machine learning projects (insurance rating, investment) as well as playing a key role in Intact’s M&A team with the mandate of shaping Intact’s M&A strategy and executing M&A transactions.

He was the Co-founder of Guangzhou International High-Tech Incubation Centre. Dr Lei has more than 100 publications in journals, conferences, and patent applications. His research has led to several technology startups. His research has won several international recognition, such as the 2011 CES Innovations Award, 2008 Taiwan Excellence Award, and 2007 IBM/Microsoft Consensus Award.

His team has won the runner up finalist award at 2012 Grand Challenge Competition at the ACM International Conference on Distributed Event-Based Systems, and entered top 5% rank at the 2013 KDD Cup data mining competition. He received a Meritorious Award for International Mathematical Contest in Modeling by SIAM in 1989. He obtained Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University, and PhD degree from Brown University.

He has taken HA from a virtual “green fields” site to today’s situation where every patient has a complete interoperable electronic patient record which can be accessed by his/her clinical carers in any of the 43 hospitals and 120+ clinics of the HA. The HA’s Clinical Management System (CMS) has been integrated into all the major care delivery process, providing decision support, workflow enablement, and informs the management and planning functions at all levels. His current work focuses on the next generation of the Hospital Authority’s Clinical Management System (CMS), HA’s single integrated patient app (HA Go), and the Smart Hospital concept. Together these will enable new enhanced healthcare service delivery models, with patient-centric personalised care, advanced data driven decision support and risk prediction and enhanced clinical communications and operations.He also works with the Government to operate and further develop the territory-wide Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHRSS) and the wider eHealth ecosystem in Hong Kong. The eHRSS provides a standards-based, detailed patient record reaching across nearly 2000 provider organizations in the public and private healthcare sectors.NT is active in the informatics research and education communities, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. Ways to measure IoT performance will be crucial to the development of IoT solution, in particular for smart cities. At this point, there is NO universal standard on smart sensors nor quantitative methods to measure IoT performance (and thus combat IoT security).
