Mr. Arthur Au is a technology lawyer focused on helping technology companies thrive with over twenty years of legal and industry operations experience in corporate and private practice settings. He is currently the General Counsel of OrbusNeich, a multinational medical device company with presence over 70 locations around the world. Previously he was a Global Legal Director at a global electric car manufacturer headquartered in Nanjing with international footprints in the U.S. and Germany. Mr. Au has a deep understanding of legal and business issues experienced by a technology company including corporate governance, data privacy, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder equity, compliance, employment, commercial transactions, intellectual property and licensing. Mr. Au worked extensively over a diverse range of different industries ranging from financial, manufacturing, technology services, hospitality, and biotech startups in both in-house and external counsel capacities, advising on corporate commercial and transactions. Mr. Au worked in Silicon Valley for well over a decade as a lawyer and a seasoned engineer with project management and R&D experience. He is one of the founding members of the Innovation Entrepreneurship Special Interest Group at the Hong Kong Computer Society. Mr. Au holds engineering degrees from Duke University and Case Western Reserve University, and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California and registered to practice with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
