As a key initiative of the Government's 'Digital 21' strategy, ESDlife has been dedicated to develop the first bilingual portal delivering one-stop public and personal services in order to provide Hong Kong citizen with maximum convenience. It is easy to access ESDlife's online services through PCs as well as a large network of electronic kiosks throughout Hong Kong.

ESDlife offers over 120 public services from 40 government departments and public agencies, including online applications, appointment booking, tax returns filing, license renewals etc. ESDlife also takes a proactive role in developing a wide range of commercial services such as self-service ticketing, wedding planning tools etc.
