Michael Ma has been in the Information Technology industry for over twenty-five years in both Canada and Asia Pacific. His experience spans many industries including airlines, financial services, IT and consulting, utilities, and the public sector. Michael has held various technical, sales, management and executive positions with such large global enterprises such as Royal Bank of Canada, Sun Life Financial, AIG/AIA, and IBM.

Michael is currently the Head of Information Technology for the Hospital Authority. Prior to that, Michael has held positions as Vice President, Global Wealth Management Technology, Royal Bank of Canada; Group Vice President, Information Technology, American International Assurance Company, Limited; and Corporate Vice President and Regional Chief Information Officer for Sun Life Financial, responsible for regional Operations and Information Technology for the Asia Pacific region.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration degree, in addition to being a Fellow of HK Institution of Directors (FHKIoD), Fellow of HK Computer Society (FHKCS), and other professional designations.
