IPS is a high-performance intrusion prevention
system that provides high standards of protection
against Internet threats by stopping and blocking
attacks in a transparent manner. With its
multi-processing detection engine and the
state-of-the-art Invisible Honeypot deception
engine, the system consists of a customized
operating system, which uses a proprietary
technique, known as Kernel Layer Caching,
and an Intelligent Protection Engine. Aegis
IPS also integrates with the inspection firewall
