server side, HSM is a host based security
software agent that collects and analyzes
security information from three areas: security
assessment, security monitoring and security
log analysis. It offers a single integrated
solution, consolidating messages so as to
enable security personnel to rapidly appreciate
just the most important information out of
all the many thousands of raw security log
information messages which would otherwise
need their detailed scrutiny.
Building on knowledge from the company's more
than five years' experience in intrusion detection,
the system can readily be customized to meet
user requirements. It has been well accepted
by the market for its knowledge based - as
opposed to tool based - solutions. These incorporate,
among other elements, intrusion detection
scenarios and security policy compliance.
Overall, HSM allows users to maintain higher
levels of security forconsiderably reduced
outlays of time and cost. |
