Dr CB Leung graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He had a year of overseas training in Leicester General Hospital, United Kingdom under Prof John Feehally. He is currently the Consultant and Deputising Chief of Service, Honorary Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, Prince of Wales Hospital, and the Cluster Co-coordinator of Clinical Informatics in New Territories East, Hospital Authority. The Renal Unit in the Prince of Wales Hospital is very active in both clinical and basic researches in Nephrology, Dr Leung was involved in more than 160 peer review journal articles.

Shortly after his return to Hong Kong in 1995, he involves in the development of the Hong Kong Renal Registry and is currently the Chairman of Renal Registry Implementation Team and Chairman of Organ Registry and Transplant System. He is actively involved in Information Technology in both New Territories East Cluster and Hospital Authority Head Office. In 2013, he was asked to take up the Chairmanship of IPMOE Taskforce of NTEC.
