Mentorship Programme

In today's challenging IT market, many of our newly graduated and young members find themselves sitting in the cross road of issues concerning job-finding, capturing the ever-changing industry information and defining career objectives.

Knowing that each member might have an unique background and career interest, finding a 'personal' career advisor who could help to tackle individual problems and provide career counseling is therefore in great demand. In order to better position oneself in today's fast moving and highly competitive IT industry, having early guidance and training is definitely the key to any career success. In view of the need to breed 'Leaders of Tomorrow' and to sustain professional quality, the Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS) is pleased to introduce the Hong Kong Computer Society Mentorship Programme.

The HKCS Mentorship Programme aims to provide the mentees with career counselling and on-the-job advice as well as to facilitate the mentees' educational and professional growth through learning from the mentors.

This is the first time that HKCS organizes such a mentorship programme which is open to all its members. The programme is specially designed for the young members who wish to work in the challenging world of information technology. All the mentors are experienced executives from various renowned organizations in the field. This one-to-one relationship provides an unique and precious opportunity for members to learn from and interchange ideas with their mentors through face-to-face discussions.
