Topic : Closing the Quality Gap

Abstract : In the session, Mr. Nelson Wong will take a look at the so-called Quality Gap and the issues facing us in testing. He shall also look at Rational Software approach in closing this quality gap. Rational Software provides testing capabilities in four different areas. They are:

  1. Reliability Testing
  2. Functional Testing
  3. Application Performance Testing
  4. System Performance Testing

Mr. Wong is going to look at each of this area and see how to address it.

Biography : Mr. Nelson Wong is a Software Engineering Specialist in Rational Software. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Mr. Nelson Wong has over 9 years of experience in testing specializing in performance testing, benchmarketing, capacity planning and stress testing. His publications include:
