    About Linux SG

    The Linux Special Interest Group was successfully formed in June last year. During the past eight months, the SIG has been actively participated in a number of Linux-related events, conferences and workshops to work towards the objectives aimed to promote the use and development of Linux Operating Systems.

    Our SIG Chairman had the honour to chair a Power Panel Discussion on Linux and
    e-commerce at the e-China Forum 2000 Conference in June 2000. The panel discussion aroused the interest of quite a number of audiences and there were hot discussions on the successfulness of Linux when applied towards the business world.

    The two SIG Vice Chairmen, Mr Raymond Ng and Mr Victor Wu, served as invited speakers in the Linux World Conference. Their talk encompassed both the technical aspects of Linux applications and the business nature of applying Lin
