Promoting and facilitating the development of the industry locally, regionally and globally is our topmost priority. The activities and events organised by HKCS in 2008-2009 helped boost the industry development and strengthen the role of Hong Kong as an ICT hub in Asia and around the world.

HKCS sees a great connection between knowledge exchanges, both locally and internationally, as well as positive Mainland-Hong Kong industry relations to the growth and development of the Hong Kong ICT industry. Events such as the HKICC2008, the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2008 - Best Business Award, APICTA 2008, JICC 2008 and ASOCIO ICT Summit 2008 (Hong Kong) have all combined to enhance the professionalism of Hong Kong ICT professionals and promote the Hong Kong ICT Industry development. The effort of all members of HKCS was greatly appreciated.

HKCS will continue promoting industry development in 2009-2010 with the hosting or participating in annual events such as the HKICC2009, APICTA 2009 and JICC 2009. We sincerely hope our members will continue to support us, as we strive to achieve our goals.
