Mrs. Theresa Lui started her career with HSBC as a system developer in 1988. She has managed numerous systems development, including general banking, private banking, HR and Securities. She moved to the IT Training Department in 2000 and was a trainer in iSeries, system analyst/design and fundamentals of management.

In 2003, HSBC IT started to move to a Shared Service Organisation, Theresa moved into a new role in Planning and Communications; responsible for management accounting/reporting and internal communications for IT. In 2007, she took up the position as Head of IT Training & Internal Communications in HSBC Asia Pacific. In late 2008, IT and Operations were integrated as HSBC Technology and Services (HTS), and Theresa has an expanded responsibility to cover HTS in Asia Pacific.

Theresa was educated in Hong Kong with both her bachelor and master degrees in Computer Science. She also has various professional qualifications in Business Management and Business Communications.

Theresa is married with 2 children, aged 15 and 12.
