With over 30 years of IT experiences in both vendors and industry-based disciplines, Patty retired from her roles as business operations executive and project principal at Hutchison Ports Group last year. For 12 years, she was General Manager of IT and Special Projects at the Hongkong International Terminals (HIT), re-engineered the Productivity Plus Program (3P) terminal system (winner of the Computerworld Smithsonian Award) and launched the Hutchison Ports Next Generation (nGen) terminal solution, as the Group standard port operations, among 40+ ports around the world in maximizing work efficiency and business effectiveness.

In her early years, though based in the US, Patty had extensive international exposure. She managed and implemented the National SWIFT Fund Transfer System for First Bank Chicago and Minneapolis, the Hospital Management System in the Columbus Hospital and the American Hospital in Chicago, the mainframe systems for Beijing Computing Center, and the CIM Systems in Shinjung, Taiwan. Patty was also expert in CMM (Capability Maturity Models) & ISO 9000 (International Standards Organization) standards.

Since 1997, Patty founded and chaired for 10 years, the US-based PMI HK Chapter (Project Management Institute). She is also active council to HKCS (Hong Kong Computer Society), HKITPC (Hong Kong Information Technology Professional Certification), HKMA ITMC (Hong Kong Management Association-IT Management Club), CPDA (Continuous Professional Development Association), and universities. Patty takes every opportunity her lifelong learning - a conquest.
