Mr. Michael Ma has been in the IT industry for over twenty-five and has held various sales and marketing, technical, consulting, management and executive positions with MNC in both vendor and user environments.

Michael is currently a Corporate VP at AIA with responsibilities spanning across Asia Pacific covering 12 countries.

Prior to joining AIA, Michael was the Regional CIO for Sun Life Financial responsible for IT and Operations in the region.

Michael contributes to many not-for-profit organizations, such as - former Vice Chairman of the Canadian International School; Vice Chairman of the Chinese Canadian Association; former Executive Committee member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce; former Advisory Consul of PMI; former member of the HKCS Membership Committee, and currently a member of the CIO Board and Community Services Committee of the HKCS.

Michael has a B.Sc. and MBA degrees, in addition to having Certified Computing Professional, Information Systems Professional of Canada, and Association of Project Management Professional. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society, and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.
