Security and Privacy Forum on
A Practical Guide for IT Managers and Professionals On the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance |

The HKCS, assisted by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, has compiled the captioned document to provide a 72-page practical guide to IT Managers and professionals on the requirement under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PD(P)O) covering the six data protection principles as well as certain selected areas of direct relevance to the IT industry.
The Guide is to be launched by the HKCS at 3pm on 11 January 2012 with a press conference in the presence of Mr Allan Chiang, the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, to be followed by the Forum at 4pm. The Forum is relevant for CIOs, IT Managers and Professionals (software developers, project managers, business analysts, security professionals, operations, auditors). Seats are limited (50) and on a first-come-first-served basis. |
