IT RoadShow in Public Housing Estate 2004 - "Having Fun in Using IT at Home" 屋村資訊科技巡禮 2004 - "家居IT樂繽紛" IT Roadshow in Public Housing Estate 2004 was successfully held with lots of community participations. This year, the theme was “Having Fun in Using IT at Home”. The last station of the IT Roadshow in Public Housing Estate 2004” was held at StanleyPlaza on 4-5 December, 2004. The event and the Closing Ceremony was held on 5 December, 2004 at 5p.m. “IT Roadshow in Public Housing Estate 2004” was an educational and entertaining event organized by the Community Services Committee of HKCS, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA). Altogether there were six roadshows held in six public housing shopping centres throughout July to December, 2004. One of the programmes in this final station was the “Smart IT Kids Contest”(香港少年電腦精英選拔賽) in which students aged from 12-15 will be tested with their knowledge of IT by presentation, quiz and debate. 5 winners were born who would be eligible to participate in “Shanghai – Hong Kong Youth IT Camp 2005” to be held in Shanghai in next summer.
