Topic A: Web Browser and Cafe Internet Security

Topics on web security cover security functions of web browser (e.g. IE or Netscape), web server and communication link, S-HTTP, SSL and ; use of eCert and DSS. Control of cookies, cache & web bug, Internet access at Cafe: clearing up history and store password of Web base email account and shoulder hacking; filtering of sex & violence sites; and , the content rating body e.g. RSACi.

Topic B: Personal Fire wall

Home modem and broad band access security, predenfined list of applications and trusted sites, banner and blocking, auto internet lock, attack detection and logging, list of banned sites.

Topic C: Computer Anti Virus Strategy

Prevention of viruses at home, spreading viruses to office PDA and Mobile phones

Topic D: eMail Security Strategy

Email encryption and authentication, DSS, snooping, spanning and filtering of advertising email, blocking some email address, chain and hoax emails, content security, backup of email address book.

Topic E: Mobile Security

Notebook access control, thief cases, WAP TELEPHONE authentication; physical access control and thief prevention strategy.
